Pickup Instructions

Thank you for choosing Mainely Trash for your trash and recycling needs. We pride ourselves in providing the best waste management services. In order for us to serve you well, we need your assistance in preparing your trash & recycling for our team to pickup.

Here are the key details:

Pickup Location: We are early risers (yes, lots of coffee!), so please have your trash and recycling outside on your pickup day before 7:00AM. Our team will not enter your home, garage or other structure to pickup your weekly waste, so please have it outside your home or at the end of your driveway ready for our team. When you sign-up for our service you can provide further detailed pickup instructions to let our team know exactly where to find your trash and recyclables.

Trash Preparation: All trash must be placed in sealed trash bags. For the safety of our drivers we cannot accept loose trash. No rocks, stone or building materials are accepted in weekly service plans. Feel free to place your trash bags in bins/carts to protect them from trash loving animals.

Recycling Preparation: We take recycling seriously and strive to meet all acceptable recycling practices so will need your help to achieve this. We accept cans, bottles, cardboard and other approved recycling materials. Unfortunately, we cannot accept recycling in plastic trash or shopping bags as they cannot be recycled. It’s suggested that you place loose recycling such as cans and bottles in a large recycling bin. You do not need to sort, all your recycling can go together. You might also choose to use recyclable containers (small paper bags, large yard paper bags or cardboard boxes work great). Please pile your corrugated cardboard together beside your bins.
